Using SVG Images in Power BI In this webinar David Power BI shows how you can work with SVG images as Image URLs Power BI. In the August update Power BI was enhanced to enable the dynamic creation of Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) images making it now it is possible to create measures that dynamically update to account for user selections and filters. This technique is available for use with any visual that renders Image URLs as an image. This puts SVG on par with how we currently use non-vector image types such as PNG, employing them as indicator columns in the Table visual or in other creative ways. Porque sou tão "fissurado" em SVG? É simples, quem não gosta de automatizar as coisas e ser mais produtivo no trabalho?! Já mostrou aquele projeto super bonito para um cliente e ele pediu para mudar as cores? Ou trocar de ícone? Não precisa mais sair caçando na internet um ícone para substituir e muito menos abrir esse ícone no editor de imagem para ajustar a cor dele. Mas afinal porque usar svg nos projetos de Power BI? O SVG é um formato de arquivo usado para a criação de logotipos, ícones e elementos interativos. Além de proporcionar altíssima qualidade de imagem, é extremamente escalável se compararmos com outros formatos, como o PNG ou JPG, o que torna o SVG ideal para manter a aparência dos Dashboards em diversos tamanhos de tela sem perda de qualidade, permite também modificar a cor de um ícone de forma dinâmica, transparência, borda e até animação. Poucos sabem, mas podemos fazer uso deles nos projetos de Power BI. Reuni uma biblioteca de milhares de ícones em SVG para usar nos meus projetos, e hoje finalizei meu primeiro visual personalizado do power bi para usar com SVG. Um Lottie é um formato de arquivo de animação baseado em JSON que permite aos designers enviar animações em qualquer plataforma com a mesma facilidade de envio de ativos estáticos. Eles são pequenos arquivos que funcionam em qualquer dispositivo e podem ser aumentados ou reduzidos sem pixelização.
